Rational

Rice is important staple food for more than 60% world's population. The rice demand is tend to increase.

Rice demand for Indonesia annually is 34 million tonnes. About 2.5 million tonnes are imported from other country.

Rice productivity for Indonesia is still relatively
low : average 4.5 tonnes/ha.
Australia : 9.5 tonnes/ha.
Japan : 6.65 tonnes/ha

Factors involving in the low rice productivity
  1. Consecutive rice production system all the year : The law of diminishing return.
  2. Imbalance use of fertilizers (mainly rely on the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers).
  3. Pest and diseases : brown plant hopper, tungro disease and rice blast disease.

How to use ?
  1. For Seed treatment :
    1 part of Sunland + 29 parts of clean water.
    Soak the germinated seed for 2 hours before sowing.
  2. For foliar or soil treatment :
    1 part of Sunland + 49 parts of clean water
    Through spraying or soil dressing


Field experiment at seedling stage : Rice cultivar "Cigeulis", 17 days after sowing. Seedlings treated with Sunland showed significant better roots and shoots growth
